As a Detroit fan I'm good with this trade. But this would be a offseason trade and not a TDL move. As long as neither team is going to the playoffs.

If this was the first 2 weeks of October but by the end of the 3rd week it was pretty clear we weren't going to be a playoff team.

TDL trades are usually rushed and more expensive. It's the last chance to bolster your lineup before the playoff and that gives the seller the upper hand and they can ask more than usual and most of the time get it.
