Habs are out of the playoffs anyway. But Maybe we could claim a guy like bogosian on Waiver to fill the gap until this summer

Fla passes at that price.

Canes are looking for right shot D and right shot wing. This does not fill that. Does not hurt them. Just not sure if they are interested. Be better just eliminating Fla and straight trade with Canes. 🤷🏻‍♂️

First FLA overpays for Petry, then CAR overpays for Hoffman...

Generally the Canes trade could be fair, but not for a pending UFA... 3rd pair RHD, 1st and a 2nd for UFA forward is just too much...
