Imo BUF shouldn't do this. While Gaudreau is by far more superior player than Reinhart and Cozens are, they as a team are too weak to truly fight cups.

And when they're about getting there, Gaudreau has already walked from the team...

What I really like about this trade is
1- Gaudreau gets to play with Eichel
2- He’ll never have to worry about being a disappointment in the playoffs again!

If gaudreau had a few more years on his contract then maybe but sabres aren't in a position to do this.

The most ridiculous part of this is where reinhart signs for 5.75. I think if he was gonna sign for this he already would have an extension, there is no way his agent let him sign for 2 yrs at 3.6 per unless he was gonna go big for this contract. I think he holds out if it's not 7 per. You can debate whether you would pay him that, I'm only suggesting what his agent will have him do if the money and term isn't there.
