Patrick hasn't lived up to expectations, but he's only 21, and he's still a 2nd overall pick. Trading him for depth role players could easily lead to Flyers getting burned hard. Like Forsberg for Erat

Flyers really have no reason to move him especially if his value is unknown. When he’s on the ice he’s been very good and playing a great 200foot game. Problem is he has yet to play a full season. 3 years into the league he’s still only 21. Just has to get his health issues straightened out first.

I think flyers are partly to blame for his issues, coming off hernia surgery in the summer before his rookie year, should have been 9 games at most and back to junior on health, not ability. But that’s only an opinion
