Which prospect would you add with Brodin to do this?

Wild need centers not wingers, Barrie will most likely be a UFA and Bracco really doesn’t have that much value, so no

This is basically just Kerfoot for Brodin 1 for 1. Barrie is a UFA that the Wild have zero interest in signing and Bracco has barely any value. It’s a no.

This is what people will be saying when their teams keep claiming him on waivers

Bracco is a former second round draft choice who is a really talented offensive right winger whose real skill is setting up other players with great passing and vision skills. He is also a real power play quarterback and deployed on right point on a powerplay. His weakness is he is on the smaller size and does not play a real strong defensive game. However, he just has not had a chance with the Leafs yet because they are loaded on the right wing side and the Leafs already have too many smaller skilled players in their lineup. He is in alot of trade rumours because it is obvious that the Leafs are going to move him to another team which will give him a chance to play on their NHL team.

Barrie doesn't do anything for MN, he's a rental that won't be re-signed. Besides if MN did get Barrie, Brodin is the d-man you'd want to pair with him. Tor would be better off trading him elsewhere where he'd have some value. MN could flip him, but it's not worth the effort. Other teams would know they have the Wild over a barrel and get almost nothing for him.

Brocco won't play in MN anymore than he will Tor. He'll hit waivers next season, and someone else will pick him up (I can't see him getting past EDM). He'd basically be a rental for their AHL Playoff run.

FYI: FJ isn't a good prospect. He was drafted way too early (should have been a late 2nd to late 3rd round pick), and hasn't done much of anything in the SHL since the draft.

So it's really Brodin/Kerfoot 1-for-1 trade. Wild easily pass on that.

Not only should the Wild not add, they shouldn’t even consider this move! Barrie is brutal! Bracco is worthless! And Kerfoot is not nearly enough for Brodin!

If he was good enough, he would get a chance... Since he isn’t, and has a recognizable name, Leafs fans throw him in every deal they can imagine...

I wouldn't add anybody, I just really don't see any fit for the Leafs as a trade partner. We don't need more D and we don't need more wingers. Kerfoot is a fine player but he's really more of a 3C than a top 6 guy. If we move Brodin or Dumba, we have to be getting a top 6 center or at least a promising prospect/young player that projects as a top 6 center. Leafs don't have anybody like that other than Matthews and maybe Nylander and obviously they aren't trading either of those two.

He's Sam Anas basically.

I mostly just wanted to post to say this ACGM reminded me Filip Johansson was drafted by the Wild in the 1st round. I thought I had repressed that memory, thanks for bringing it back.
