Shouldve sold out a long time ago EDM VAN CBJ NYR

Created by: kailer_memeamoto
Team: 2019-20 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 15, 2020
Published: Feb. 15, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Trades
1.
MIN
  1. Baertschi, Sven
  2. 2021 2nd round pick (VAN)
2.
MIN
  1. Koskinen, Mikko
Additional Details:
Both goalies unlikely to waive for obvious reasons, but this is a very interesting trade to me, with koskinen still having 3/4 years left and dubnyk likely retiring at the end of his contract, both being a bit overpaid. Yet dubnyk has been considerably worse so Minny will add a couple low-round picks
EDM
  1. Dubnyk, Devan
  2. 2020 7th round pick (MIN)
  3. 2021 6th round pick (MIN)
3.
MIN
  1. Anderson, Josh
  2. Gavrikov, Vladislav
  3. 2020 1st round pick (CBJ)
CBJ
  1. Dumba, Matt
  2. 2021 3rd round pick (MIN)
Additional Details:
Minnesota has tricked the entire league. This man ain’t that good, in his own end, especially this year. Someone is stupid enough to give up a first ++
4.
MIN
  1. 2020 1st round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
13/14 pick- 100% would have to come with an extension in place

So a team needing to move out wingers, trades for a bunch of wingers and moves BOTH d-men and doesn’t even get a C back. This is awful.

Wild decline everyone of these deals except maybe Vancouver, I have no idea on who Baertschi is.

Well as long as he doesn't count against the cap and he has no more than 3 years on his deal I guess I except.

You only save 1 million when you bury him, not worth trading Foligno for a 2nd when you have to take a giant cap dump back like this, unless Vancouver wants to take Rask too

Wild won't be at the max cap for a couple years so not worried about the cap hit for a few years. A 2nd rounder for Foligno, who I love his game, is good value. It wouldn't hurt to ask for a additional 4th though if Wild have to absorb the cap hit for more than a year.

Someone is gonna give up the same thing without us taking a cap dump back though, that’s the issue with this. I would bet a 2nd and a 4th is his price.

I hope you are right but their ate days I struggle to get a 4th for him, usually leafs fans, I think a 3rd and a 4th is more likely.

Sorry but that’s an easy no from Columbus. We don’t need a RHD... Gavrikov is a top 4 d and plays well with Savard and we aren’t trading yet another 1st away...

Wild aren’t asking for any of that anyway, except maybe a 1st. I don’t understand any of these trades tbh

Vancouver isn’t paying a 2nd for less than $500 K in cap relief.

Only issue with Brodin as a NYR fan is this. Cap space, NYR can’t re-sign him as they have too many dmen in the system and too many dmen on books(Staal 1 more year $5.7M, Smith 1 more year $4.35M, shat $6.1M buyout, Skjei $5.25M, Miller, Nils, Keane, Rykov, Robertson coming up.)

CapFriendly special for when people who do not follow a team make an ACGM for them: just make a bunch of moves and ignore any logic. Make sure you work in at least 1 trade that heavily favors your own team and wonder why people hate what you've done.
