Domi is probably a nice fit for Leafs. I've read on a few threads on ACGM though that Domi wants to be a center.
I agree though he is a better fit as a 1 LW than a 1 C.

Domi had a lot of success playing with Marner and Dvorak on the Knights and he would welcome this trade to Toronto which is his old home town to really get his career back on track playing with Marner. Leafs can always let him play a bit of centre ice at times to keep him happy. Leafs could use his grit and heart to toughen up their team.

I think you are probably right. He is somewhat of an inconsistent player in the NHL and I actually think his value has been dropping this year.

Every nhl player had success playing against teenagers. Get over junior success

MTL would be looking for a dman for Domi since we have a surplus of forwards and the price wouldn't be something Leafs would be willing to pay.

You're talking Sandin or Liligren +

To be fair, Domi would add a grit dimension that Toronto sorely needs, without sacrificing skill in any way.

Yeah he's a good player but is he what they need or is a good dman better use of the assets and ultimately better for the team

This package is Kerfoot a b prospect and two guys maybe worth a 5th each.
Let's say Bracco is worth a 3rd.

Do you think the difference between Domi and Kerfoot is a 3rd and 2 5ths?

I dont either

Bracco isn't worth a 3rd...

The Leafs haven't given him a chance despite his AHL coach being their head coach and him being a waivers risk next year. Why is that? They know what every other team knows, the guy has serious issues and will carve out a career as an AHLer. Nothing wrong with that, but that's not worth a 3rd.

Eh. I think the reason he is stuck in the A is the same reason Kapanen is stuck on the third line. They have the bad luck to be stuck in an organization with Marner and Nylander owning the top two RW spots. Bracco isn't suited for a fourth line role.

I think he has some value as a reasonably high draft pick who has done well at every level and hasn't had his NHL shot yet. I argued that he was worth what he originally was BEFORE this season (a late second). Now that he hadn't been called up I'd say hes lost a rounds value.

I'd say hes worth a mid round pick. If you want to argue 3rd vs 4th that's fine. He's still more than young enough to have a good NHL career but the longer he doesn't make it the longer the odds.

But to put his age into perspective with his own teammates Bracco is almost 23. Engvall and Johnsson both didn't make the NHL until they were 23 and a half.

So when Marner was hurt and he didn't get any games? Gonna call BS on your story. Cool story though.

Fair point. But I do believe that was under Babcock. I may be wrong though. But yeah it does speak against him. Regardless I stand by his value isn't gone. Again people act like he's 28.

3 of the Leafs "young guys" are older and made the NHL older than he is now. Engvall, Mikheyev, and Johnsson.

If you think back a couple years we got a fourth for Soshnikov. Bracco has more value. He's worth a mid round pick.
