I think you are looking at TOR and FL battling it out to be the last team out the Atlantic. Looks like the Metro will have 5 teams go again. What an absolutely brutal division the metro is.
It's really a coin toss as far as which team gets in. FL could get in if Bob decides to play better in net. He's capable of so much more.
TOR could get in if their defense decided to help at all on the ice.
Both those teams though. 4-5-1 and 5-4-1. That isn't how you make the playoffs in Feb.

FLA and TOR would battle for "less bad record in last part of the season award" and whoever wins gets the spot in Atlantic in playoffs. I hope Leafs get in and be good, but again an asswhooping like not making the playoffs would help them grow as a team. Every contender had it.

it really hasn't been the leafs defense that's been the problem for the most part. the goaltending has been just awful. Andersen has a dub 900 save percentage since like December. hasn't made saves that hes normally made. still some defensive issues but still, hes the bigger problem rn

Leafs might miss the playoffs for sure. But how Manson really help the Leafs that much. Plus you have made a roster of 20 and little cap...that ain't working

Andersen has not played well but let's not kid ourselves into thinking this isn't related to defense. When Campbell is in net we see the same thing but because Campbell is playing better, it just looks worse on Andersen than it really is.

Have you seen Barrie. He can't play defense. If we get Manson he can definitely help

I've said Barrie has been the Leafs worse Dman this season. But he isn't a Leaf next season or Ceci. But that trade proposal seem hight for just two years of Manson
