Not even close. Sharks have no need for a late 2021 second rounder and an ECHL player

The rumored asking price is a 2020 second+lower level spec... This obv isn't that, and I think that is p fair and would definitely think we win this deal, but I don't think this "isn't even close"

The asking price is a second and a prospect, and you offered just about the worst of those two things you could. A later second in a pretty bad draft and a guy who cant even play in the AHL at 23(not a prospect by most definitions)

Switched it...threw in a 2020 4th to compensate for the 2nd being in 2021 as well.

2021 draft isn't THAT bad... It's not 2019... Or 2012... But it's not like you're gonna get an early second in 2020, maybe CAR, I think they have NYR's pick, but they're about the only team I can think of that would be buying and has an early second, maybe VGK, idk, and at least this trade had a second in it, all it's really missing is the prospect, most times isn't a guy better than like Almeida... He's not a deal breaker in any deal from PIT's perspective, then a bit to compensate for the 2021 pick instead of 2020, but that's two minor pieces away from being the offer I see 99% of the time on here lol

Definitely better, still think we could find a team willing to give up a 2020 and a better prospect with the market being what it is right now, but thats a fair offer.

He’s been hurt literally all season... Hasn’t played in the ECHL at all. Never even was sent there. Former second round pick with decent upside.
