I guess this trade would depend on I we knew exactly where this draft pick ends up or not. But if it's today, I think Ottawa should do it. Hertl is no joke and Leblanc has a lot of potential. Looking at Ottawa's team, this could help them a lot long term.

That’s what you will say next year about this one. Laf will be good maybe elite. He has the size and game to do well. You should of saw the hype around here for Hughes. Every time I tried to say he won’t put up decent numbers right away I was attacked.

Not a chance they're getting the pick back. Hertl is unreal, but that pick will likely be much better in a few years when Ottawa is ready to try to contend.

Labanc is good but Ottawa has lots of similar level players. And they also have tons of 2nds too.

It's not trash by any means, but Ottawa doesn't do it. Top 10 picks while in the middle of a rebuild are pretty much invaluable. Especially to a team who drafts well
