Disregarding the cap, I would still say no. Unless you do my classic move in NHL 20 franchise mode: trade the salary players for young players that potentially can produce as much that are being paid WAY less.

No because in reality to add Marchand, Seider and Pesce to the Leafs would cost a major fortune. No way would you be adding those 3 without losing Kapanen, Nylander, Liljegren you're not getting those 3 guys for free. So your answer is probably no.

He's been looking really good there in Grand Rapids? He's pretty much NHL ready now and will get his 9 game tryout after the trade deadline in a week.

He is ahead of schedule and has a good chance to makes the Wings right out of camp next year.
