Yea it seems Panthers fans here really overvalue him.

I'm just spit-balling here (non-FLA fan) and not sure of BUFF prospects like Tage T. that could be factored in too?
* I'd say Reinhardt and maybe a later pick 4/5/6/7th?, or
* Risto and 1st/2nd/3rd?

Other than dahlin and Eichel and cozens who else does buffalo have of value. Risto is terrible and absolutely not what the panthers need and like I said the panthers have rd they need ld that actually play d so yandle can stop playing top 4 minutes in his own end.

Revise:
* Risto + some combo of either Thompson or Mittlestadt + a pick?

Edit - can flip Risto elsewhere or take McCabe?
* I'm not a BUFF guy so that Army can stomp all over this....

That was probably his value 2 years ago, but he's really struggled since. Add the injuries to the mix and his value is probably at it's lowest right now. He'd probably get something similar to the Kadri trade, which was top 4 D + young bottom 6.

My thought was either Risto or Montour and a 2nd, Fla is cap pressed so I think Fla would prefer a draft pick to another body unless it was Thompson who they could place on LTIR. Even tho both D I mentioned are RHD I think Risto could move over to the other side

I hear ya - fair point. Not so much a debate 'one-for-one' really but now more of what's V.T. value (so I proposed some BUFF ideas ^ ^ ^).
Frankly, both squads can likely use a trade that shakes the group - whatever that might look like; thoughts?
