If Green is worth a 2nd and a prospect what is Gus worth

Trades

  1. 2020 1st round pick (VGK)
VGK
  1. Gustafsson, Erik
Additional Details:
Kinda makes sense that the rental market is so expensive with so many teams still in the race. I think the hawks are going to stand pat unless they get an offer that blows them out of the water for Gus. I think a first this year does it, other than that its stand pat.

I think he was overpriced because you need a good return for your captain. An equivalent player won't get as much...

You can probably get a conditional 4th for Seabrook now

I’m not sure why that would be the case.

Because of his playoff tough guy intangibles

100% depends which team. Vegas...heck no. They want to push the pace. A defensive minded scheme like NYI. Yeah I could understand this. Also the cap hit HAS to help Gus's value.

True for Vegas but all the other teams are looking for good defensive defenseman

Feels like a steep price for Greene, but Lou knows him better than anyone, so that could be why

If Vegas offers a 2nd/3rd and Jack Dugan, in or out of the playoffs, I’d pull the trigger.

Gotta disagree with some on here. If older and slower Greene is worth a 2nd then Gus is easily a 1st for many teams around the league looking for an offensive D-man.

Should get a 1st from a team like Vegas after seeing that but I would be happy with a 2nd and prospect.
