A 3rd and a 4th for Kovalchuk or a 2nd with a 5th coming back

For Tatar from the Oil, I would look for:
Puljujarvi
2021 1st
Sam Gagner (cap reasons)

Really hinges on how highly a team values Pulju at this point. His year in Finland is promising.

Seeing how everyone (sorry, not everyone, how about a large portion) on here is getting super defensive about how the trade market is setting out to be, I’d say the best offers you get from people on here are:

Petry: a 2nd rd pick and a C prospect
Tatar: a 3rd liner and a bag of pucks
Kovalchuk: nothing because obviously anyone could of had him for free a month ago so why pay anything, right? RiGhT?!?!
Thompson: no reply
F50marco, KCarry74 and KeepUps15 liked this.

personally we'd take JP , RL or TB all the same i think
i think RL for obvious reasons if not JP but if worse came to worse TB would do as our LW outside Drouin and Lehkonen is pretty weak for pieces under 25

If i'm Habs GM, i'd reply with :

Puljujarvi
Cap dump of your choice ( Gagner in this case)
2020 top 10 protected first

I don’t think the Oil need to be too worried about their pick falling into the 1-10 range this draft barring total collapse (they are 3-1 since mcdavid went out...so I don’t see a complete collapse as likely). So doesn’t make too much sense to me.

How about it stays a 2021 1st, but a 2020 2nd is added if the Oilers make the Conference Finals?

You did see what the Islanders gave up for Andy Greene, right? It's a sellers market at the moment.

Mtl will surely ask for a 2020 1st.
