because then literally every playoff team would just trade for all the other teams that are out's stars just for the playoffs and it'd just get really messy

OR fkn epic ahhaha. You would get to see a team with Mcdavid and Crosby.

-> But loans would be expensive, I'd imagine. And not every team can fit a 12M cap hit.

Is there a rule against trading back? I don’t think there is so technically someone can do it

A high first, a 2022 2nd round pick and a B+ prospect that's the 3rd or fourth best LHD prospect in your prospect pool? For Price - I thinks that's fair for a Loan -> especially if you look at the price teams are paying for rentals.

Timmins is a RHD, NHL ready playing especially well in the AHL,
You dont even know who you are trying to low ball their value on

Swing and a miss, stop over rating Price, he hasn been a top 5 goalie in this league for multiple seasons now. Montreal fans living in the past, shocking
