Of course it's a horrid deal for the Leafs. Faulk might turn out to a long term cap bust. Leafs would be 100 times better off the summer signing a UFA like Pietrangelo and then trading Nylander for futures.
Or just keep Nylander and finding a cheaper short term RHD.
