2 A prospects + a B+ prospect + a goalie replacement. Add a pick going to Chicago and they take it.

AHAHah no they wont. Starting goaltender, top 4 d man and a young second line centre for a fringe starter, a top 4 prospect And other bad stuff

From the CHI perspective it's very interesting. Strome is the hard one to part with. As much as I like Gus and Lehner...pending UFAs so I get it. The other hard part that I'm seeing is that CHI is sending the (3) best players in the deal. I mean prospects are prospects. No one has a crystal ball and none of those prospects are McDavid...clearly...so it's just a lot to send over to get zero proven assets back.

From the CAR point of view...1st... Some people believe it's not Mrazek Reimer, but rather a soft defense. the injury to Dougie certainly hurts, but he can't be replaced. I've been vocal and still believe goaltending is their #1 issue. Even last game against EDM...Reimer could have stopped 2 of those 4 goals if he was in the right position or didn't let up the rebound. It's also not like he was bombarded with shots either. 24 shots for the game is darn good. The biggest issue I would have from the CAR perspective is that they are ALL prospects that CAR wants to be ready in the short term. They're all pretty darn good prospects too. It's just too much leaving that they'll be depending on either next year or the year after. Mix the prospects and picks.

Lol, wrong. Lehner and Gus are about to be free agents. They could walk and get nothing for them. There are 2 high end prospects and a very good one in that package. I think Canes have to add a good pick as well. Or Hawks pull Strome out and replace him with a lesser piece.

They don’t take it as is, but they certainly listen and can build off it to get to a place where it does work. Depends how confident they are about re-signing Lehner.
