That is a bad deal for the Leafs. Two starters and a pick just to fill the fantasy that a RHD Is going to put the Leafs over the top. Bracco in an NHL lineup? C'mon.

I am not sure I would resign Kyle Clifford. He's expensive for what a 4th line option should give you. I really hope Egor Korshkov is ready for the NHL next season (he's one for one so far) and maybe even Marchment. Petan or Agostino can play 4th line minutes for all Keefe uses them.

I go back and forth on trading Kapanen. I'd love to see him become a Hyman type player at RW on the Nylander-Tavares line (with Willie on the LW). That makes a very dangerous top-6, and leaves Johnsson or Kerfoot to provide a bit of depth scoring (one probably needs to be moved). Maybe Bracco can help with that a bit, but he needs to figure things out first.

i think kerfoot is currently doing the hyman role pretty well. i think kappy is expendable but i wouldnt want to move him, he doesnt seem like he can play his off side very well. dermott could be a good player but its hard to tell where he will end up sandin may hop over him soon. i dont think i give up this much for manson.

I agree with the depth scoring bit. I think it hasn't been discussed how the leafs depth scoring has taking a massive **** ever since the Mikheyev injury. That guy was a beauty when in the lineup

Kerfoot has been big time underperforming in my opinion. With top 6 minutes lately he hasn't been putting up a whole lot.

I'm not sold with Kerfoot in the top 6. Still too much of a passenger for my taste. He's definitely not what Toronto thinks they were getting. His value is not going to be great right now so they might have him another year by default. I change my mind everyday on which of these 3 I want to lose.

If Kappy played with Nylander and Tavares he would be at RW. Nylander has expressed wanting to play more LW and I would at least toy with that lineup if I were Keefe. It would mean two zone entry experts with Tavares which would help him out since he's less suited to that role.
