I'd do this, not because I really want or care about Vincent Trocheck, but because we somehow rid ourselves of Faulk's contract without costing much.

Would have to be predicated on Pietrangelo re-signing though.

I had just posted something similar. I’d love to go after Trocheck...

Hard to gauge his cost but if the Panthers are really shopping him, and there is any chance that Faulk would be what they are looking at, we could come away with a big win there even if it costs another good young forward. Would mean we open up the room for Pietro and add basically another Schwartz (that plays center) for an affordable cap hit. I doubt Army would move Faulk so soon though.

Is it me or do you guys actually have space to sign Pietro, once you trade away Faulk like that?

For sure, moving Faulk alone would be pretty close to enough cap room. The whole thing is puzzling as a fan, but it seems like we're stuck with Faulk and gonna have to get creative to keep Petro, whereas if we just let things play out without the Faulk trade, it would be pretty straightforward.

My guess is it’D take more though. Think 1st + Kyrou + Faulk for trocheck.

There is no rational universe imaginable where STL management doesn't do everything in their power to keep the star D and captain, especially if there's no replacement on hand. I dont know the situation down there but I'm hoping for your sake that you have a rational management. Otherwise, expect to lose for a while.
