Description
Trades might be an overpay for Colorado but they have a lot of organizational depth to warrant overpaying for what they need.
Vatrano is a cheap, solid, middle 6 winger that may be the best option with all the upcoming pay raises their RFAs will demand.
Kaut is there for another right-handed centre, but it could be Bowers or Dickinson also; whoever's the most ready.
Graves contract looks suspect but it's a 1 year "show me" deal similar to Tony D or Labanc to a degree (although I know Sharks didn't have full cap space to sign Labanc long term)
The scratches are just the types of players the Avs could use as more depth, all 1 year deals to prepare for RFA payments.
Timmins is first call-up on D.

I'm not sure he has incredible upside and Colorado already has players to fill all the roles you would want him in, except for 3C but there's a lot of young depth there so it's definitely not a big issue. Just my opinion, it could absolutely be a huge mistake getting rid of him so young.

Fair enough. That is one that could hurt in the near future. But playing this game is all about taking risks.
