Ottawa can only retain 1250000 on his contract. He already has 750000 retained from New York.

Are you sure? I tired to do 1.8 retained and it said was over 50% retained which would be the case with New York's retention but 1.5 worked

His contract is originally 4 million. CBA sad half the contract can be retained which is 2 million. NYR already retained 0.75 million so only 1.25 million more can be retained.

I know you can't retain more than 50% of a contract just confused why its allowing me to do it on the site.
