Remove Kreider from the list. It's impossible for montreal to get Kreider. Montreal is on his no trade list. He absolutely hates montreal. Price's injury at him crashing the net.
Montreal would never get kreider even if they offer him 10 mil per year.
GMs liked this.

It would be in free agency, so no-trade list is irrelevant, and just because he hurt Price in the playoffs years ago, doesn't mean he hates Montreal. There have been many examples of guys who don't like each other on the ice becoming teammates.

It looks crazy, but for a Colorado team who is in win-now mode with their young D on entry-level contracts. Adding a top-4 in Petry who could help this year and next, and Tatar who could replace Rantanen in the top-6, gives them a good chance. Timmins is behind Byram in the D prospect pool, and their 1st will likely be a late pick anyway. Newhook is a couple years away, and they need impact players now.

I get your point but there's no way they can give up Timmins, Newhook and a 1st for 2 guys that are on expiring deals next season. Newhook is electric and it's a deep 2020 draft. If they ever wanted to deal those guys, I guarantee you they can get better players with term instead. But I do get your point.
