Like the core idea of the EDM trade, but the Oil can’t take on two roster players without sending a roster player with cap back. So maybe Gagner or Granlund goes back the other way, just to make the rosters work until the end of the season (both ufa’s).

Yeah Detroit would have no issue taking Gagner back to make the cap work.

Glendening is worth more then a 4th round pick? If that's all we get for him he stays in Detroit. Other then that they're all fair realistic deals.

Yes i can see adding a player coming in from the oilers, and i don't see an issue taking Gagner or Granlund back.

I agree that it would take more than a 4th round pick, I was just not sure how much to push for and it is hard to judge the worth of players in this current market and the current state of the Red Wings.

Besides JP not being an NHL player, it looks good.

Yeah sure all that stuff but I don't love the Edmonton trade. I'm not a poolparty fan and AA is shrugging off the bad start to play like we know he can. He's still terrible defensively. I'd rather hold him and have him build some value during garbage time.
