I wouldn’t do it myself. Not because the deal is bad, but McNabb is so steady and inexpensive for a top 4 guy with 2 more years Still too, I’m not moving on from that. Even to shed Eakins cap.

That why i like him...steady with a cheap contract.

VGK are going to lose out on a high draft pick if they dont do something similar to this.

As for Niku, he is cheap with an offensive skill set...He would work great with Martinez...

What high pick? Hague is the only D that a pick was used on that’s close to be ready. Korczak has the timeline to be right when McNabb is done. Bischoff was an expansion day trade.

Coglan, Whitecloud and Schuldt were all FAs.

Plus Merrill, Holden and Engelland are all pending UFAs next season.

Check VGK cap hit as of right now...I'm talking this year....They have to get rid of someone and they will pay a high price. My thought is that they get a younger Dman in Niku instead of a 2nd or 3rd along with Eakin or something

Bill Foley the owner was on talk radio just now. He literally just said they don’t have to move anyone because of the NHL daily cat space where you bank it. They are fine for the rest of the year even if they don’t move anyone according to him. But if they were really worried about Space they could move one of the pending UFAs that I mentioned even if they only got a seventh rounder.

Moving Eakin for this season is not worth down the road. McNabb

OK...you guys are screwed if someone gets slightly injured is the only thing(as in no ltir) as you only have 1 extra man

I think if that were to happen they would just slide Tuch to LTIR for now. He’s going to miss the needed games anyway.

The real problem is the AGM machine doesn’t do enough service for people to see the daily cap Hits. We have to base everything thing on the 81.5.

Also, VGK called up 3 guys today and like I mentioned foley said we’re still OK

Alex Tuch is being placed on LTIR already, 4.5 mil off the cap
