Looks very fair, I hate the stupid “you can’t trade with your rival” thing

That's a serious package.
Has Lou ever traded a 1st round draft pick?
Haha, ha, ha.

rangers don't need any more RHD. They would probably want wahlstrom, and there's no chance the isles do that. Two years from now wahlstrom will be putting up 30 and Kreider will be on the decline

Only if Kreider comes with an extension, otherwise I’m skeptical

I don't make that trade, but I'm just an Armchair GM facsimile...

Thats a big package.

Also, conditional pick has to be 2021 since draft is before contractual season ends

Too much to ask for a rental. Hell, probably too much for him extended.

As much as I think the trading with your rival thing is mostly dumb, the condition on KREIDER (specifically) resigning with the ISLANDERS, I think the rangers would want a little more (TBH I dont know a lot about Dal Colle).

That's a lot for a pending UFA whose role is already filled by the Captain. Anders Lee types are great, but you don't need more than one. We need a fast, dynamic scorer next to Barzal, not a second crash the net guy. The fact that we have to overpay to get him from the Rangers only makes the idea of this trade a bad one.

To be clear, I'm more against the principle of trading for Kreider than your actual offer. The value you've put here is realistic, but not acceptable for the Isles. Especially since we'd probably have to give Kreider a 7x7 contract, which just isn't an option if we're also trying to re sign Barzal, Pulock and Toews. And even if we were going to trade away Boychuk or Ladd to save on cap space, how would we get a team to take on all that cap now that we've just traded away so many high draft picks?
