No reason for Col to move Francouz as they'll need him down the stretch.
I am very interested to see if a trade with Col is imminent though.
Solid rookie AHL stats for Timmins.

Colorado isnt trading Francouz, if they did they would have Miska or Werner starting games. Timmins is going to be a rock solid second pairing defenseman for a decade or more. His hockey iq is awesome, good passer, good shot, he’s an NHL average skater otherwise he’d be a #1 caliber defenseman.

Never gonna happen. Frankie is the starter with Grubauer out injured indefinitely and statistically the better goalie of the two this season. The rest of the trade makes little sense either.

From my point of view Francouz is the main piece in the Tatar trade. That would explain why Bergevin spent some time in Colorado. He should had more more time to evaluate Kinkaid before signing him. Avs could get a good backup goalie elsewhere before TDL.

That's a way big overpay imho. Timmins plus a first plus arguably the top Avs goalie....throw in Price with retention and the Avs might consider........joke, but that's how bad this trade is for the Avs needs.
