As a Sens fan, it's an overpay. Aren't Simon and Hallander high end prospects for Pittsburgh? If so, it seems like a bit too much for two rentals.

Simon is already in the NHL plays well with sid and Hallander is for us yes

I just feel that Bjustad is hurt and dont know if he'll come back and be himself. I also figure that there could be some condiitons involved. Like if the Pens made the ECF then the pick is guaranteed or something along those lines.

If the Pens bring in a D they will need to move out a D (Ruhwedel/Riikola/etc). It will need to be an "upgrade" at D as opposed to an addition to the D.

They are currently at 6 NHLers (not including call-ups) with Dumoulin and Marino down. Marino will be back shortly, making it 7. Dumoulin back in March makes 8. Bringing in a D without sending out a D would mean 9 on the roster before the end of the season (waiver requirements).
