What is price of Karill Kaprizov

Created by: NHLfan10506
Team: 2019-20 Minnesota Wild
Initial Creation Date: Feb. 20, 2020
Published: Feb. 20, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Likely an off-season thing.

But what would it take to get KK from MIN? Taking on salary? NHL players? Prospects? Picks?

(I get that he is likely more valuable to MIN than to many other teams...and many Wild fans would never want to deal him....but give me a ballpark here)

I’m one of the very few Wild fans that would even consider trading Kaprizov. I would, however, need a massive return to move him.

Dylan Cozens would be one of my prime targets.

I understand he is a very talented player and could be a huge superstar based on potential but why a massive return for someone who hasn't stepped foot on NHL ice? Nashville had the same situation with Eeli Tolvanen during his year in Jokerit he lit the league up as an 18 year old but since coming to NA and playing in the AHL he hasn't lit the league on fire like he did in the KHL.
Im not saying if the Wild were to trade Kaprizov they wouldn't get a big haul but you cant expect a massive haul for someone who hasn't proven they'll be successful.

Massive hauls are traded for prospects and picks all the time.

Because he is exactly what the wild need. The price for kaprizov would be higher than any team is willing to risk. That is why he win’t Be traded.

They would if a (potential) future 1C like Cozens was offered up. The Wild need centers a lot more than they need wings!!

My mistake, I thought kaprizov was a right shot. The fact remains that few teams would give up what the wild would want back, if any at all.

Risky business moving assets that have not played a single game in NHL, yet are coming to the league with the alleged star status.

If I were Guerin, I wouldn't move him.

Why have a seen this more than once? Sabres would never make that trade. Plus does KK want out or something?

I would only move him if I could get a (potential) #1C back.

Ngl. It’s not a bad idea. They maybe could have kept Fiala. And they could sign a top target in fa. It would help them out a lot.
