I'm definitely in favor of this for NYI. Wilde comes from a position of strength (RHD) where we would add to a position of weakness (center). Not sure how VGK would feel about this, but I'm for it.

I’ve got to believe Vegas would pass on this. Too many question marks with Wilde.

That's exactly why I think this deal could work for both teams! As you said we are dealing a strength in RHD for a weakness in C/LW and I feel like it goes both ways. With VGK in the market for Dmen.. why not get one that you can grow to their style from a young age!

His injury this year was a little weird, so at first glance it's concerning. But Devon Toews had a similar injury and he's had zero injury issues since, so if I'm another team I wouldn't worry about it.

Wasn't it just a badly sprained ankle from working out? Don't think that's something to be overly concerned about.

Oh, I thought it was a shoulder or something. Regardless agreed, nothing for teams to be concerned about.

You could very well be right... I’m just going by what I’ve read about him since even before he was drafted...and still now. A lot of scouts question his ability to make decisions at high speeds and that is a huge red flag trying to project a player to the play in the NHL.

Totally even swap. Both sides have warts, but plenty of ceiling left.
