they dont need a goalie, they want 3rd goalie depth in case of injuries like they had before, having to go with Hamburglar as a starter

Also you are not getting a top prospect for a 35 year old pending UFA goalie. Thats just not even realistic to what a TDL goalie trade is like

I think something is going to happen pretty soon. Off Ice workouts now???...who knows.

If Andy Greene got a 2nd...Slater can get at least a 3rd. CGY doesn't have any cap space and that move might happen at the midnight hour when they haven't made any moves at all.

COL needs a PKer. Smith might not be the 1st choice, but they have a TON of cap available and there's zero doubt he could help in the playoffs. Good PKer and the playoffs can get quite physical. He's not afraid to get into scraps sticking up for the stars of the team. He knows his role.

Interesting BOS trade. I'd begrudgingly do it.

CAR reject

COL reject

VGK don't have the cap

the only trade here that might happen is Koekkoek, and Calgary may sell themselves

Andy Greene got a second because Lou convinced him that the 2nd would help out the Devils a lot in order to get him to waive his NTC.

But it happened...right? That's part of the trade market. It's not like Lou was forced to say yes.

VGK don't have the cap? They can waive a player and have the space, or the hawks can retain 50%.

Boston would solidify their top 6 for the next two seasons making that trade, with an excellent bottom 6. Krug is questionable to resign anyways, so why hesitate pulling the trigger?

Heinen and a 1st for Saad, it's not the idea it's the price. Especially if they're gonna try to re-sign Krug.

But they don't even know if they are or not. Are they really going to pay 7 million a year for him with Gryzlyk (Spell check) right under him for much cheaper?

Chicago will want more for Saad, that’s pathetic if that’s all they get and by all means please keep Saad then.

Koekko can get more, a 4th is ver reasonable.

Rumors are Carolina is talking to the Hawks about Gus for a 2nd and prospect. Vegas is out of the picture now.

I think they have to try..... There's no reason not to have both in the D core if Chara finally gives the rest of the NHL a run at Marchand
