Description

I believe there is zero percent chance that this happens... However, I think this trade would actually benefit both teams... The Leafs get that little extra edge and compete factor they've been looking for. Tavares and Okposo are best friends and have played well together before. Mittelstadt isn't a dud he's just developing. Buffalo adds to their top 6 now instead of in 5 years. As a Sabres fan I will despise the possibility of watching in our division while; Okposo returns to 20 goal form, Risto be a quality middle pair defenseman with PP2 talent and Mittelstadt and those two 1sts being future high end talent... But it'll be worth it for the reprieve from the horrendous current state of the team.

lol the Leafs are not trading Marner and they're definitely not taking the Okposo contract.

something around a base of Miller for Kapanen or Kerfoot is the only trade I see that could happen. Add a mid-level pick or prospect from BUF if needed
