Description

Make the pitch to kreider that he can get a Pavelski deal at age this contract expires. I feel he gets 7 years on this one, he's done at age 35 and will be on one year contracts for the rest of what's left of his career...yeah, it's a stretch. If Henrik retires his cap hit is only $3m, rather than the $5.5m the buyout will cost. Smith buyout is an option also because they won't go this tight to the cap if possible.

7.33 million for a guy whos never scored 30 goals or 60 pts. I cant believe this is where we are now. In a year rangers fans will be wanting to deal him.

I want to deal him also. I think the market is drying up with other teams making guys available and undercutting us. He and the team are playing well right now and I think they’re convincing the front office to extend him rather than not get a sure-thing prospect they’re asking for.

Totally agree. If he plays like this for the next 5 years consistently, great. But that’s not been his track record.
