The idea of a Barrie for Tanev swap makes a ton of sense. But I think Toronto would prefer a roster player back with Tanev instead of a pick. Personally I'd target Adam Gaudette instead

I like it but the injury luck this season and Tanev makes me nervous

Exactly why I said to add in a roster player instead of a pick. Gaudette is a very speedy two way centre. Be a good addition to Toronto's 3rd line beside Engvall and Kapanen for one of the fastest lines in the league

Adding a 2nd seems too much really. Theres no term on either and barrie hasnt been a 2nd round pick better than tanev.

Ive watched barrie be terrible in his own zone but he has like 11 more points so he gets an extra second. I dont think Vancouver does it.

He made a lot of terrible plays at the start of the season but he's been decent defensively since Keefe came in.
