Just an FYI Nylander is not even close to an elite talent. HE is barely a first line player. He is not even in top 30 best wingers maybe barely cracking top 50. So how is he elite? Just because they play for leafs doesn't make him elite.I wouldnt even consider Marner elite. Elite would be top 10 in the position. Neither marner nor Nylander are top ten. Just curious as a Pens fan. Why Nylander and not Marner? I think Nylander is a fantastic player and his value is great on that deal. Marner is likely the more talented guy, I get that, but he isn't in that top tier of young guys, McDavid, MacKinnon, Matthews, and gets paid nearly double.

Again, just curious. I know Pens fans have thoughts the rest of the league doesn't understand, sometimes rightfully so, but I just feel like AM and WN are the guys to keep.
