Take out Cehlarik or better yet a 2nd and take out Thornton, and pick a team that makes sense. Like Minny.

Probably too much for Moore. 3rd at best, but probably a 4th, IMO.

Others are interesting.

Also - Nordstrom is their best 4th liner consistently. I don't think he sits. I don't really want Thornton. Cool story if they win the Cup, but he's not what they need. I wouldn't hate it, but I wouldn't love.

Palmieri deal seems on point.

Backes has a 8 team trade list, Can guarantee you 100% that San Jose isn't on it. I see him waiving his Mod-NTC for a team closer to his Minnesota home.

I agree minny is closer and in that case give them backes a first and kuhlman for staal? In the SJ deal are we taking out cehlarik because he isn’t wanted by other teams or because he is wanted here? Bruce doesn’t like his game move him

Don’t really care about Cehlarik. Thornton sucks, he’s Backes with a smaller shorter contract. He’s also less likely to waive his NMC for Boston than Backes is for SJ.

Backes 1st couple of mid level prospects for Staal would be great. But i hate moving Coyle off center, he’s been great there.

Staal is older and has played wing a lot in the last couple of years I’m sure he wouldn’t mind playing wing. I’ve wanted him on Krejci wing last two years but bjork coyle staal would be a money third line

No, he’s still playing center. He’s taken the most faceoffs in Minny this year. Moving to him wing would be a mistake,
