you don't think kravtsov makes the team next year?

For awhile I had thought that he would too, but now I'm really unsure.

If he does, the substitution I would make is:
Krav in as 3rd line LW. Don't sign Janmark.

Other than that, I think this is the way NYR FO goes. Buyout Staal/Hank, that era is over. Re-sign Kreider and DeAngelo to big contracts. Plug the rest of the holes with call ups/FA.

Also, I'm really high on Mangiapane. Not sure what CGY fans think his value is, but I've had an eye on him for a few weeks now (before his hat trick got him some spotlight).

he has a lot to improve on still.

if you actually look at his stats post January 15th, you'll see he's really turned it up this past month.. 10 points in 16 games with 3 multipoint games. Honestly, i think he deserved to make the rangers more than kakko did this preseason (he's a much faster skater). Will be interesting to see what happens after today's trade deadline.. he has to be on the roster to be eligible for AHL playoffs until tuesday i believe, but after that they can bring him up and send him down until they start.

Calgary fan here. We like Mangiapane, and I can't see us trading him for Strome. He's gonna be a big part of this team's future.

no doubt i think kravtsov is going to be a hell of a player. his style of play is top 6 or bust. he has all the potential on becoming a solid top 6. i try to take my family to 4-5 wolfpack games a season. i only seen kravtsov play once this season live. i have an ahl membership and watch the wolfpack games often, but not as often as i use too. he really plays a russian style game. opposite of quinn's fav howden lol. i think quinn is going to really dog him at the beginning until he learns to play hard every shift. kravtsov needs to dominate the ahl the way chytil did this season. win pucks, score points, and improve defensively. i haven't seen him dominate one game yet.

idk why kakko isn't in the ahl right now. i've read a few times that if the rangers sent him down it would hurt his confidence. i disagree with that, if kakko dominates the ahl as an 18 year old that could only help his confidence.
