Danault is their most consistent centre. (Yeah I know it's problematic but he's still their best centre right now) Right now there's no one on the team who can step up right away and fill in Danault's shoes even if manage to draft a very good centre in the next 2020 draft.

Fair enough but he is probably a third line center on most teams including the Avs.

Suzuki and KK are the futur 1a - 1b C. No need to draft another one.

Cause he can play against every players in this league and still manage to shut them down consistently. He makes 50 pts without powerplay time. He is 26 and has a 3M contract for another year. He is also a stud on the PK and on faceoff.

Maybe the Avs would add a better prospect but i know MTL needs D and no way the Avs are trading Byram/Timmins.

Ageed but I feel like more value goes into trades revolving around pts rather then good PK guy and doesnt get any PP time. But his contract is great for the next two years or whatever he is signed.

Value"s come from whatever the player can bring to a team, point being the most important for sure. As for your comment about him being a 3rd line center 75% of teams. I went on daily faceoff to see the center line of every team, Im just at LA now wich means 14 teams and already 7 had a first or second center worst than him. ARI, ANA, BUF, CBJ, DAL, DET, LA. Im sure if I continue we come far from 75%

Jeeez the teams I named were off the top of my head don't hold me exactly to that 75% estimate. Also Buff has Eichel/Reinhart, Dallas has Seguin/Pavs argument could be made for him over Pavs but different teams would have different opinions on that.

MTL fans need to give Byram a rest, MTL doesn’t have a player on their roster that COL would trade him for. Timmins isn’t that level and I bet with the right circumstances Sakic would probably let him go, maybe.

Sorry to double post, but imo Helleson is going to be a really good NHL dman. He isn’t flashy, and isn’t going to score a ton of points but he’s going to be a guy you can play 18-20 minutes and put him out in any situation.
