reasons why isles should not do this deal.

1. Parise is turning 36 soon and has 5 years remaining on his contract (ladd has 3)

2. He has a NMC so you can't waive him in a few years when he becomes another Andrew Ladd

3. there's much better options available

I also doubt Minnesota wants to take the risk of the recapture penalty. That could f*ck them in 3-4 years.

That being said, if Lou makes this trade , the islanders deserve all the bad luck in the world and he should be fired. That would prove that he’s out of touch and the game has passed him by

Also Ladd has to waive as well for this to happen. Apparently He just built a huge house on LI and has a family.

Both Ladd and Parise Say Hell No Parise isn't leaving his homestate of Minnesota. And Ladd just built a home there on Long Island.
