Description

The game wasn’t close and the Leafs aren’t close to contending. The most mentally weak team I’ve ever seen. If they miss the playoffs dubas, keefe and shanny should all be fired and the rebuild should restart. They were more nervous than a ****ing EMERGENCY BACKUP GOALIE who allowed 11 goals on 46 shots playing on the Senior Circuit half a decade ago. What a ****ing disgrace.

Burnt a year on Sandin's ELC. Traded Kadri for a rental. Traded our first to dump Marleau. Lose to a 42 year old Zamboni driver.

Seriously though, yeah it sucks but Toronto is fine. Solid core locked up for years to come (mostly) and a great forward group. Just get a top RHD and this team is back in contention.

I know I’m overreacting but I was genuinely shaking mad at that game. But I mean it when I say it that if we miss playoffs the front office should be obliterated

What? This team is not fine. The forwards have no commitment to playing without the puck. They can’t stop the forecheck cycle in their own zone. It’s a team issue. Even if they get Pietrangelo things are not gonna change.

If this situation happened in gilmours era we don't lose cause he would have lost his mind on the bench. If i was Dubas, Keefe, Tavares and the rest of leafs leadership/management i would read this team the riot act after this half a** effort.
