The leafs put in a ****ing horrible effort against king David Ayers. They were impressively mentally weak for a team that is up against the cap

I don't mean to pile on, but it was a combination of Carolina going all out to protect their goalie and Toronto just giving up. Toronto just had nothing after a certain point and the Canes were fired up. They wanted it so much more
