I went through the last like 12 devils teams and they were just absolutely atrocious.

To start: byram isnt being moved, barzal is worth more than njs depth pieces, and we don't need torontos ahl depth, we need defense not kapanen + bracco

On palmieri: The devils arent moving him unless its an incredible offer, based on team needs, to me this means we trade him if soderstrom or byram type prospects are coming back, and I don't see that happening. Sorry folks

Will Butcher: Idk maybe we ship him out with a first or something and try to pick up a solid defenseman, or maybe we give him another chance to play for a coach with a good system and he begins showing promise again

Don’t see vatanen bringing back a 1st, potentially from Carolina Bc they might be desperate. Domingue adds zero value bc they could’ve got him off of waivers. Carolinas priority rn is prob bogo

Especially since he is hurt and not skating. That deal is bad.

Love Simmer but I have no interest in having him come back and the flyers don't have the cap space for it sad to say he's not the player he was a couple years ago.

This is misleading.

1. Teams could have claimed Domingue off waivers, that is true. But they would have had to put him on their NHL roster. Now that he has cleared waivers, teams can trade for him and stash him in AHL (as 3rd goalie).
2. At the time he cleared waivers, Carolina had two healthy goalies, so they had no roster spot for him.

I believe that he has been skating. It was a week or so ago his problem was pain getting his skates on/off. Not sure about last few days.

based on the other trades a 1st isnt that much, 2 2nds is more or less similar in my mind

And frankly when domingue was on waivers they didnt have a zamboni driver in net. So now they get a d man who was tetering on a first to begin with, plus a backup g

maybe it doesn't happen, but its by no means "bad" in my opinion. to each their own

in addition, carolina has 2 firsts
