If the sabres are trading that package, they should get a complete center, not a one dimensional winger.

that one dimensional winger with jack would be like Backstrom and Ovie though.

laugh Rodrigues sucks Montour is the only decent piece Mittlestady #8 pick not living up to his potential 2021 1st round pick needs to be 2020 or no dice. That's pure crap for Laine doesn't benefit Winnipeg in the very least.

Yup indeed that's awful...

A 2nd line, 1st PP unit, 25 goals scorer winger for a 4th liner plus an early to mid 2nd rounder

Not really, and that’s why i don’t think he makes sense as a target. Wouldn’t you want a guy that’s more set up oriented for jack?

When was the last time Saad scored 25 goals? 5 years ago? He’s only done it once.

You must not have watched him play this year. He is not a dimensional winger anymore.

Let's put aside my conviction that you're seriously underestimating Saad's and Sergachev's trade value. I think you should reconsider your strategy -- you have 5 first-class wingers for 4 positions. Meanwhile, you have only one first-class center. That's really @wojme 's point.

I, too, wish other teams decided to basically gift my team all their good players.

It's not always easy to make that transition. Just ask Jack Hughes, Nolan Patrick, Kasperi Kotkaniemi, even Nico Hischier . . .
