blowing it up is not the solution. it will take them a decade to replace a marner, a matthews, a tavares a reilly etc. they need to make trades. they need to bring in guys who work hard, who give it a 100% every night. players that play a good defensive game. oh hell yeah they need good defensemen. a jonas brodin , a gallaghar/jake virtanen type player (s)

I am mostly just having the fun. I don't believe they should blow it up. They need less offensive defensemen. I watch the devils closely and can't believe the impact of Dakota Mermis. I never heard of him before and all he does is defend and contribute nothing on offense but it really was a boost to the team. Especially on the left side where Butcher is bad on D, Mueller is awful and White is too inexperienced. I feel like Toronto should focus on finding guys like that.
