There is already a top prospect coming in a mid first rounder

You seriously wouldn’t take a first round pick and two nhl regulars for that bum Kane? Even with Ottawa holding your own top 10 pick? Wow.

Kane is a 30 goal player. The value makes sense but we arent rebuilding and Murray is a RHD literally the last thing we need

30 goals, no more, twice. In 8+ seasons. And he can’t keep his mouth shut or not get suspended. I’d be looking for any reason to move that contract. But I guess his contract is the least of worries out there these days.

Why wouldn't the Sharks rebuild? The window is shut at this point it was a hell of a run but every team has to hit the reset button eventually. Take a look at the left side of the Sharks blueline. What is really there besides Vlasic? Murray is a legit top 4 defender and he's not even that old.

Columbus shouldn’t be trading Peeke... Trade Savard before trading Peeke. We also shouldn’t be moving our 1st... we have a very bar prospect cupboard... we need all our prospects we have.

But torts and Kane would be hilarious to watch all season.

As I agree Columbus shouldn’t be trading for Kane. Get your facts straight... Murray is a LHD and exactly what San Jose need if he wasn’t to injury prone.

Why would a team that has the worst offensive depth in the league trade one of our remaining top six forwards for a D man making 4.6 million a year?

As I said the trade isn’t happening.... I was just saying that San Jose needs a top 4 LHD and making under 5 for that isn’t a bad price.... not that you should trade Kane for him. Read baby shark

No we dont need a D. Our team is ravanged by injuries and we could bring back Dillon for less next year

Look I don't think the Jackets would want Evander Kane in the first place. But for you to say they aren't rebuilding? Come on man, the writing is on the wall. That team doesn't have the cap flexibility to fix their issues via free agency. They inconceivably traded away their 1st round pick to sign Karlsson. Yeah, how did that work out? Means the draft isn't going to help you, considering it could take years before any player selected would be of use at the NHL level. That leaves trade as the only route. But to say they are still a good team is laughable. This team is getting buried now that the non California teams have gotten significantly better. But your right, Dillon signing back for less is going to make all the difference lol
