Isles room is very tight. Is AA's character an actual concern? Genuinely asking.

I see him as a guy they can move up and down the lineup. Would make an immediate difference IMO.

He is very, very good. I mean we will never actually know but there are rumblings he may be a bit of an issue in the room at times. He has also had a few tough negotiations with an experienced GM in Holland, not sure Lou would be overly tolerant. AA is a much better Ho-Sang but a very similar personality, and of course you Isles fans would know how he feels about Ho-Sang

I understand what you're saying and I'm not saying you're wrong but Yzerman really doesn't need todo anything. AA is still a RFA and he is Detroit's only decent trade piece. So I wouldn't expect Yzerman to sell him to low.

I personally don't think he will fetch a 1st. But maybe. He was very good last year scoring 30 and only being a -9. This year he only has 10 goals, but a -45. I get the all players on the Wings will be a -, but -45 is alarming for me.

Prospect and a 2nd I would think

I don't see AA as a fit but if any team could cover up his defensive deficiencies it the islanders. You can keep ho sang, he was free and no one wanted him so. He's been much better since he's been back too like 5 goals in 7 or 8 games

Why didn't Yzerman just claim Ho-Sang on waivers?

I agree if it's not a home run hold onto him
