Avs trade is fair value wise don’t know that they want to deal Graves though. The expansion draft does loom large for the Avs.

im not a big fan of it to be honest, you are moving 2 roster players with have RFA control for an older player that I dont see fitting beyond past his 1 year left on his contract.
if you are going to combine Jost and Graves together in a. deal, go for something who has more team control left. Feels a bit reckless asset management on this on e

Is Graves playing out of his mind? Would he have the same success on a team like Montreal? We also have a ton of LHD prospects coming up I really think the only move for Tatar with Colorado Is for Timmins. We need a replacement for Petry if we either trade him, or he’s asking to too much when we try and extend him.

graves plays a smart simple game. If he was paired with weber he will look just as good.

He is playing great, and there is some validity to question if he produces the same way if he is paired with somebody less talented than Makar. But I also think he is a good case study for dman development, he isn’t flashy makes the right play more often than not but things have clicked for him this year.

you mean Petry or Weber?
i think he'll do fine beside them
its actually the motivation of getting him as he did year one what Mete still hasnt fully done
he's produced consistently beside a great player

Timmins has never finished a single season at any level he's always injured
that includes this year in the AHL to missing time due to 'migraine issues ' aka code for Post Concussion symptoms
if it wasnt his head having issues , sure

but it is so i have no interest in a player we might get 4-5 good years out of maybe but never a full season

Weal > Junkowski

last year Jankowski >Weal
given he's younger, has size and in a better position then Danault when we acquired him or Byron when we acquired him or , Domi , or Tatar or Petry , ext
We'd be idiots not to take a chance he'll over achieve in the east where he'll be a giant compared to the west that covets size (which sucks for Janko because like Armia he's big but not mean)

Janko may be down but dont count him out
Byron's still making CGY regret moving him
