Description
You need depth on the back end in the playoffs. This gives our AHL guys the rest of the season down there to do damage and gives the Canucks playoff depth if a guy goes down.

Canucks are not trading Jett Woo and 2nd round pick in a deep draft.

So in your opinion Ive over payed.

I submitted Sven, 3rd 2020 and Palmu for half retained Simmonds before and was told I wasnt even close to the ballpark.

Does Sven, 2021 3rd and Sautner or Teves get it done?

You don't understand. Simmonds is bad. Really bad. He is on pace for a 33 point season. He's lost 2 steps. He rarely gets physical. He's just kind of coasting out there. He is stunting Hughes' growth. You will regret getting him for nothing. His career is over.

Simmonds is just as tough as he's always been. Jack Hughes problem is he needs to get to the gym and add 25 lbs!
Simmonds is the Ferland replacement. Apparently there is rumor that what Van wants Jersey to take back is too much. So while a second probably is too much, maybe a sweetener is needed. Sven is making about the same as Will Butcher and not on the big club,. So again it's a bit over, not a ton.

No, he hasn't gone into the dirty areas. He last goal was a product of Bratt and Goose giving him an open net for being too lazy to join the rush. He is bad and he should feel bad. That saying if a club wants to give us a 2md/3rd based on name value I am all for it.
