Kakko is going nowhere. Marner's contract is a burden as of right now.

Marner is twice the player Kakko will ever be!

I am starting to think you may be a NYR fan account!

You have to be joking about the Leafs trading Marner. Marner is a franchise building block player for the Leafs who grew up being a Leafs fan and one day will be the Leafs captain. Leafs have been waiting years for a special player like Marner and you want to trade him after one poor game. He is one pace for 100 points this year if he was not injured. Led the team in points last year which was his third year and second year. He would have led the team in points his 1rst year if he did not miss a few games.

Not sure if you watched some player interviews last night after the Carolina game but Marner was the only player who stepped up and personally owned the loss himself and reminded me of the Sedins who always faced the media head on after a tough loss. Leafs need more players like Marner and not the players you are trading back to the Leafs.

Do you the Rangers have an extra Zamboni driver?

He said he hasn't been trying hard enough. You think he'd go 100% after how long he held out during the offseason. Several games this season I've seen him not giving it his all.

That's a pretty hot take on a player in his draft year. How did Marner do in his draft year? Right he didnt play in the NHL

Marner destroyed the OHL putting up otherworldly totals.
Kakko is faltering at the NHL level. I would be shocked if he scored more than 40 points next season.

I think he skates so effortlessly that you think he is not trying hard. I think he has been negatively impacted by trying to play with Matthews which is very difficult.
