After the Coleman trade, it's reasonable

Michael Russo makes it seem like he won't budge unless Necas is the return from Carolina

Some variation of this deal or a trade with Fla seem the most likely. I no longer want Trochek though - he’s too old for what I want to see happen, but probably the only type of trade Leipold would sign off on...

Rumor has it he wants a roster top line center that's as old or younger than Brodin in a Brodin trade. Trocheck is probably the most likely but it's been reported they'd have to add a bit to him to get Brodin.

I like Trocheck IF a Dumba trade happens in the summer to get a younger C.

I get the feeling that Trocheck really isn't what Guerin is looking for so Florida would have to add significantly to get a deal.
I have heard nothing about Domi lately so I think that must be dead.
So I assume Wild are going to wait to see what comes available.
The only trade I feel is immanent from the Wild tomorrow would be Staal to Flyers as long as he doesn't have them on his no trade list.

I love Brodin as a player, but if Guerin were to pass on a deal like this, I have to believe it would be at Leipold’s command.

I think there is a better chance of this now than there was when you posted this...

Calgary just acquired Gustaffson from Chicago. The D market is very thin, basically only Vatanen and one of our D left unless Calgary moves Brodie. Not sure if Stetcher has been traded, today has been nuts and I'm at work lol.

Edit: and Calgary acquired forbort too.

I’m on completely ok with the Wild being patient with Dumba and Brodin, but I am livid they did absolutely nothing! They should have traded Staal and Galchenyuk for anything!

Eh... Why make a trade just to make a trade? Maybe nobody offered anything worthwhile for Galchenyuk or Staal. Staal played like trash before the deadline last year and was on fire at the end of the year and after the deadline he even said that his uncertain future affected his play. This could be good if he heats up, he has been really bad for about 10 games just like last year, sell him in the offseason and let him gain value. Galchenyuk I doubt anybody offered more than like a 6th, he's had two good games but otherwise has been really bad this year

I wouldn’t have hesitated to trade either for a 6th rounder. I’m actually concerned that Staal will miraculously get hot now and carry us to a few extra wins. And that’s certainly it what the team needs!
Galchenyuk...who cares...getting a laundry bag of smelly, used jocks would be better than nothing. He’s not part of the future plans anyway...at least he better not be!
