I somehow knew that Mike Green would come to the Oilers, but it is still surprising that Holland would trade for a RHD when the team already has 3 great ones in Larsson, Bear, and Benning.

I think that the team still needs a few wingers, but it will need to shed cap.

You probably have it set right for now. When Klefbom comes back green will go to the last pairing with Benning on the left and green on the right.

But as a wings fan Green should be riding the pine. He really is not as great as people think watch for all the giveaways and mistakes

Trading Chiasson for Ennis is counter productive. We need more Top 9 Fs, not trade one for another one.

Green probably plays 3RD and Benning plays the left side on that 3rd pair. Lagesson probably goes back to Bakersfield and Kris Russell looks like he’ll be out long term.

Ennis is cheaper though and is on a hot streak. Ennis is also faster and I believe is a decent PK-er. Chiasson basically does the same thing as Neal on the PP, but Neal is better and when he returns he should get his old spot back.

I wonder if Holland would consider trading Larsson for a top-6 winger like Kapanen or Tatar. I would love that.
